Reducing
Plastic

Out of the approximately 50 billion bottles of water bought each year, 80% aren’t recycled and end up in landfills. That’s about 120 million tons of waste a year that will take more or less 450 years to decompose.

With every glass of water that is drunk from our WaterBars, less plastic is produced, less energy is consumed, less waste is generated… and our planet is better off.

Reducing
Energy

Most energy comes from dwindling natural resources. This is not only an environmental risk but also affects each of us when it comes to our increasing home electric bills or the fuel we consume driving our car.

Reducing the energy consumption of our products is an important goal for us, both in protecting our environment and ensuring that our customers can also consume their water responsibly in their homes.

Our products are Energy Star certified, which confirms they’re energy efficient.

Reducing the
Carbon Footprint

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas that is considered the main cause of climate change. While carbon dioxide is emitted from natural sources, the emissions from human activities, for example electricity production and gasoline consumption, are the main cause of climate change. Our carbon footprint is reported to the Carbon Disclosure Project Organization as part of Strauss Group's overall reporting. It’s important for us to measure our carbon emissions and reduce them.
